According to one, the SPD district association in Tempelhof-Schoeneberg rejects RBB report a black-red coalition in Berlin.

The voters would have followed the motion of the Jusos against a Senate alliance of CDU and SPD with a clear majority, reports the RBB, citing SPD district leader Lars Rauchfuss. One does not want to go together with the Christian Democrats because of the right-wing populist course of the CDU in the Berlin election campaign.

SPD should not become the stirrup holder of a conservative government

A total of 71 of the 106 SPD delegates in Tempelhof-Schoeneberg supported the motion “No coalition with the CDU”, the RBB continued. There were 30 votes against and five abstentions. The SPD should not become the stirrup holder of a conservative state government in Berlin, the motion said.

The capital SPD under Franziska Giffey wants to negotiate with the CDU until the end of March. An SPD membership decision is to follow in April.
