The Berlin fire brigade had to move out to Schützenstrasse in Berlin-Altglienicke at around 10:15 p.m. According to initial information, local residents reported a glow of flames from the balcony there. The forces that first arrived actually found flames on the balcony. A turntable ladder was immediately brought into position.
Two comrades put out the fire with a bucket sprayer. According to initial findings, there were no people in the apartment. The Berlin police are investigating the cause of the fire.
