Statement on Iraq by AKP Spokesperson Ömer Çelik

AKP Spokesperson Çelik made statements regarding the agenda after the FMC meeting. Çelik, who reacted harshly to the claim that civilians were shot in Iraq, said:

“We are a country that has faced many provocations in the past. I would like to underline that the Turkish Armed Forces is the most sensitive army in the world in order not to take any action against civilians. I would like to state clearly and plainly that someone accuses Turkey, that it is a planned provocation and Turkey “It is extremely wrong to target Turkey. We do not separate the brotherly Iraqi people from ourselves.”

“OUR PRESIDENT ANNOUNCES ITS EXECUTION, CHP IS COMING OUT, SAYING ‘We said it, you did it'”

In the continuation of his statement, Çelik said, “Our President explains his actions, the CHP comes out and says, ‘We said it, you did it’. This is tragicomic. Ultimately, it is our government that does it.”

Referring to the normalization talks with Armenia, AKP member Çelik said, “This is important as long as the Armenian side keeps its word. In the past, some states sabotaged the normalization with Armenia so that the Armenian diaspora would not be out of their control.”

A MESSAGE OF CONDITION TO TERRORISTS FROM USA

Ömer Çelik, regarding the condolence message issued by the USA for a terrorist, said, “It is a grave step. Who is this force? our ally in NATO. This ally is sending a message of condolence for the terrorist. After that, how will you talk about the fight against terrorism,” he said.
